We are currently looking for a Software AI Engineer to join our growing software development team.
Summary
You will be responsible for the design and development of Computer Vision (CV) and Machine Learning (ML) computational pathology applications to assist with the diagnosis of cancer and other diseases. You'll work in concert with our medical device hardware and software engineers to optimize the total solution.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Project requirements, objectives, specifications, testing, and verification
- Overall project management and reporting
- Manage algorithm development effort and hardware integration
- Create code, test processes, and documentation to meet regulatory compliance requirements
- Maintain historical records by documenting program development and revisions
- Draft documentation and user guides
- Train sales and technical staff in use of products
Skills and Qualifications
- First-hand knowledge and hands-on experience in image processing, feature detection, cellular morphology, segmentation and classification, etc.
- Experience in developing and deploying supervised and unsupervised ML algorithms, such as CNN, GAN, for object detection/ image segmentation/classification
- Proficient in C++/OpenCV/Python
- Proficient in Keras /TensorFlow with familiarity of Python
- Ability to analyze and solve complex problems
- Software algorithm design, performance optimization
- Working to ISO13485 QMS standards
- MS/PhD Imaging science or 2+ years of related professional experience
